This is another school project. I was given a short story (The Chain by Tobias Wolfe) and asked to create a new setting for the story. The idea was to do enough illustration and research to develop it into an animated film.

The illustrations were created in Blender 2.8, using the incredible EEVEE render engine. After that, I used Adobe Illustrator's Image Trace to create vector graphics out of the images. Finally, I processed the images in Photoshop for color grading and subtle depth-of-field.

I did a few interior illustrations, too. I used Marvelous Designer to create the curtains, sofa, cushions, and tablecloth.
