I had been wanting to try something other than character art for awhile, so last spring I designed, modelled, and created this. All textures are procedural, except the grunge-map textures, which I had purchased from cgtextures.com for a previous project.
Created in Blender, rendered in Cycles. In the future, I'm probably going to do jewelry renders with LuxCore, however, because it has a bi-directional integrator with full spectral light transport. It's both fast and beautiful. I rendered this image when LuxCore was still LuxRender, and at the time it wasn't such a clear advantage.
